We live in a risk-averse society, and our politicians seem most risk-averse of all. The linked article outlines how “business” perceives and categorizes risks, but it is beyond its scope to explore how business attempts to prevent, avoid, or mitigate risk. Even so, it is interesting to see how risks such as government malfeasance are buried within some of the named risk categories. Food for thought.
